2008 BMBA Awards Details

Awards Introduction

The Blue Mountains Business Advantage partnership between Biznet, BMCC and BMTL is very pleased to announce the second Blue Mountains Business Advantage (BMBA) Awards for the Greater Blue Mountains Region. Applications will open on July 30 and close on September 22.

The 2008 BMBA Awards night will be on October 17 at York Fairmont Resort, Leura.

The inaugural business excellence awards were officially launched in 2007 at Peppers Fairmont Resort, Leura and were a huge success. They are open to all businesses in the region as well as all Biznet and BMTL members.

The criteria for the 14 categories will be based around the values of the Blue Mountains Business Advantage Charter which includes triple bottom line sustainability principles - a concept which recognises that total business health involves not just economic but environmental and social engagement, too; and that this offers generous rewards for companies which adopt these values.
